1. Who I am

Your Tandem Desk is operated by Lesa Rosewarne, a sole trader trading as Your Tandem Desk. I am responsible for the personal information used to manage my business enquiries and client relationships.

2. What information I collect

When you email me, I may receive your name, email address, business details you choose to share, the content of your message and subsequent correspondence. If we work together, I may also process information needed to provide the agreed services and manage the business relationship. The website hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry unless it is necessary.

3. Why I use information and my lawful bases

I use enquiry information to respond to messages and discuss requested services. My lawful basis for ordinary business enquiries is my legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and managing communications. Where you ask me to take steps towards an agreement or we enter a contract, processing may be necessary for contractual purposes. I may also keep information where required to meet legal obligations, including relevant accounting requirements.

I do not automatically add people who enquire to marketing lists or send unsolicited newsletters.

4. Service providers

The website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Business emails and correspondence are handled using Microsoft 365 Outlook, and relevant business documents may be stored in Microsoft OneDrive. These service providers may process information on my behalf to operate and secure their services. The website does not use an online enquiry form; enquiries are made by email.

5. How long information is kept

Unsuccessful enquiries are normally deleted six months after the last contact, unless an ongoing matter or a legitimate legal reason requires longer retention. I review enquiries monthly and delete information no longer needed from Outlook and relevant business files.

Client records may be retained for longer where needed to provide services, manage disputes or comply with legal obligations. Accounting and tax records are retained for the applicable statutory periods.

6. Sharing information

I do not sell personal information. Relevant information may be processed by the service providers listed above, by other providers engaged to deliver agreed client services where appropriate, or disclosed where required by law. Where another provider is used for a specific client engagement, the applicable arrangements will be explained as appropriate.

7. International transfers

Some of my service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for restricted international transfers, the relevant provider arrangements may include UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can contact me using the email address above to ask about the arrangements relevant to your information.

8. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, object to certain processing or request data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not intentionally use optional advertising or analytics cookies. The website host may use technologies necessary to deliver, secure and protect the site. This statement will be reviewed if website functionality or third-party services change.

I may update this notice as my services, website or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
